These are without a doubt the best pair of hiking boots I have ever worn. They were a little stiff out of the box, but broke in after 20 miles. Recently I was 5 miles into Florida wetlands when a massive rainstorm hit. I hiked out with my 2-year old in a carrier on my back, using a trail that had turned into a stream 4 inches deep. The Pegasus' didn't leak a drop during this downpour. These boots are well worth the price.
