This boot was worn right out of the box for a 12 mile hike in the Whites. Very comfortable with great support. They feel like sneakers. The soles are slippery on wet terrain, dangerous on wet rock and ledge. So far, my feet have stayed dry in this pair. Wet traction aside, these are sturdy, comfortable, and well worth the price.
