User Review: Teva Raith Mid eVent
Source: bought it new
Price Paid: $100
Great boot with durability concerns.
- Great support and comfort
- Take them right out of the box and go!
- Better than average waterproofing
- Great traction
- Seemed a size small
This was actually a great boot. Here in north Texas there is little elevation gain so I was nervous during a recent trek to Ouchita Mountains, but these shoes handle it great. I decided to leave them on during shallow crossings a few inches deep and the waterproofing held its own and the bottoms gripped slippery bedrock like spider-man.
After the three-day hike I did notice some fraying around the seams and have read this a few times on other reviews. The shoe also seemed a size small and was a little tight with super-thick woolies.
However, this is a great shoe for the price, stayed warm, gave great support, fit well right out of the box, and left my feet warm dry, and much less sore than my last pair of shoes that will remain nameless. Buy em!
