This trail runner is billed as the top shoe for those looking to actually run bigtime mountains, but fails to perform in some of the most basic ways. The sneaker's major flaw is durability.

I understand that it's meant to be lightweight (for racing) but I took them out for 4-5 mountain runs and the front tread of the shoe was completely shredded and worn down almost completely on the toe area.

Don't buy these shoes if you plan to hit pavement for even a couple steps as it only make the problem worse.
The stability is decent and its unmatched in weight, but their on my shelves until a race as I will use a trail trainer for mileage.

Try Innov8 models .. they are almost as light and can take a vicious beating without wearing down. I bought two pairs within a month they are so reliable and comfortable.

P.S. The mesh that allows the water to escape from the Teva's doesn't work as the shoe remains completely drenched for hours after a step in the drink.
