User Review: The North Face Apogee 24
Rating: ![]()
Design: mountaineering single-wall
Sleeps: 2
Ease of Setup: very easy
Weight: 7lbs
Price Paid: none
Probably the best 2-3 person tent anywhere. Fabric is a 3-ply waterproof breathable, more waterproof and not so breathable. Has some (closable) vents at the top to add necessary ventiliation. The best part of the tent is the ultra-fast setup--no fly to dick with in high winds. Just get the three hoop poles in from the outside, then crawl in and put the two main poles in from the inside. Can be done in total blizzard whiteout conditions no sweat. Very lightweight and simple, I love mine so much that I got two more for backup, and that was a good move--they're no longer made. No problem, I'll be using mine forever.
