Here's what other sites are saying:

Moon boots had their place back in the 70s. They were warm, mostly, and just about as easy to walk in as mafia-induced concrete boots. Contrary to this, the North Face's Women's Arctic Guide Boots utilize a zonal insulation system to reduce bulk where it isn't needed. The result is a low volume boot that's capable of withstanding bitter cold. The upper is a breathable mesh with HydroSeal waterproof construction. Insulation was provided by a Reflexion lining throughout the shoe and underfoot. An added 100g PrimaLoft Eco insulation was placed over the toes -- one of the points where the most heat is lost. The bottom features a dual-density EVA Cradle Guide midsole, which provides support and impact control during cold weather activities. This was layered on The North Face's Winter Grip rubber outsole with IcePick temperature-sensitive lugs for increased traction. With the built-in heel snowshoe clip, you'll be ready to trail blaze no matter how cold.
