Airblaster Ninja Suit

Looking for a "onesie?" The Airblaster Ninja One-Piece Suit offers all I need for a full coverage, draft free, mid-weight base layer...without the bulk! As is often the case for me (being on a fixed income) I enter review contests to win gear that I need (but can't afford) for my passionate pursuits. Winning another site's campground review contest, I garnered a coveted gift certificate to Airblaster (myairblaster.com). I must admit, the gift certificate was substantial and I was no less grateful...but… Full review

The North Face Himalayan Suit

This is the best down suit you can buy for your money. It's warm and does its job in the coldest of weather. Keeps you warm and dry, very comfortable, it's like wearing a nice down sleeping bag. It's great for any winter activity. It's best for winter camping and long treks or walks on cold days. I wear the suit all the time around the house or outside, it's that comfortable. I have gotten many compliments on the suit. I would recomend this suit to anyone whos is always cold or wants to be comfortable… Full review

The North Face Himalayan Suit

A wonderful one-piece suit for extreme conditions. Very well made, no cold or wet spots whatsoever, and fairly easy to move around in (considering what it was made for). Yes, the hood is large, and does restrict vision, but with three drawstrings it can be made to fit well, and I think the hood would accommodate an oxygen mask well. The crotch zipper is easy to deal with when nature calls, and the reflective lining adds to the warmth. The mitts in the sleeves are another good feature. Full review

The North Face Himalayan Suit

Amazing workmanship and fill power. The Dryloft fabric works very well. It has a very large hood that could interfere with the view. The elastic in the water pockets are a little too tight. It is really a great product. Full review

Patagonia Ice Nine Suit

The best winter mountaineering shell I have ever seen. Bright colors for visibility in low visibility situations or avalanches. Heavy duty Gore-Tex material prevents punctures from ice axes, crampons, rocks from hit when doing a sitting glacade. Many many zippered vents full length removing the need to take your plastic boots off in order to put on the one piece shell. Best piece of kit I have ever purchased. I have put mine through an enormous amount of abuse and falls and the suite is still intact… Full review

Patagonia Ice Nine Suit

Wow! Big price but an absolutely incredible suit. I have owned several one-piece suits in the past (all of them supposedly "custom-fit") which never fit right -- this one is perfect. The fabric is an outstanding mini-ripstop w/tougher fabric in wear areas. The suit has internal elasticized suspenders, full leg zips which form the rainbow butt zip, pit zips too. The zippers are all "dry zippers" -- that is, they have a monofilament which expands in water causing a better seal. The only complaint… Full review

Stoic Merino 200 1-Z Suit

Bought this for my wife for Christmas. Fit is excellent. Not too tight. Initially seemed a little long, but she is 5'1" and the XS fit fine. Prob would work if you were a few inches taller as well. Material and seams are nice. Back paneling for bathroom use are convenient. Would be nice if this were a feature of the men's product as well. Full review

Columbia Snowtop Bunting II

This suit was excellent for the winter! It fits easily in the car seat and my son would fall asleep as soon as we put it on him because it was so cozy! We bought the timberwolf camo print and everyone comments on how cute it is. I would highly recommend this bunting! It was very warm too! Full review

REI Windy Peak Snowsuit

We love it, it still fits our petite 2 year old with the growth tucks. It's a slim fit which we like, not bulky. Warm and cute for our winters here,  a -5C average. The zip pockets are unnecessary at this age. Full review
