User Review: The North Face Dogpatch Pant
Rating: ![]()
Fabric: cotton
Fill: n/a
OK, these are all cotton. I only wear them in the finest of weather, usually for biking but have also worn them for some trekking. I wouldn't even bother giving them a review except for the amazing durability they have displayed. After all kinds of abuse (how about sliding down 3000 ft of gravel and dirt on one's butt), these pants have no shape, are stained into a hideous blend of purple, orange, and brown by rock dust and sweat. However, there is not a single loose thread.
I got these for next to nothing (don't remember where), and with apologies to gear heads, cotton feels g-o-o-d on a sweltering summer day on the side of a canyon. Wouldn't dream of wearing them in temperatures under 65 f. If you can get them cheap in some bin somewhere, I say go for it.
