The North Face EG Tech Jacket

350 quid's a lot of money to spend on a jacket but my EG Tech has been worth every penny. Excellent articulation in the arms for X-C skiing and climbing, waterproofing able to cope with anything North Wales can throw at you (I kid you not!!), robust construction and stylish design, windproofing good enough to allow downhill skiing at 3500 m and -14° C with just a 200-gramme fleece and a T-shirt underneath, or January in Arctic Norway at -35° C with a 300-gramme fleece - what more do you want from a shell jacket? Recommended.
