User Review: The North Face Expedition 25
Rating: ![]()
Design: 4 Season expedition modified geodesic dome
Sleeps: 2 / 3 good friends
Ease of Setup: Easy , but do it once at home before trying it in nice storm ...
Weight: 9 well deserved Lb.
Price Paid: $450 +/- ( $150 rebate at campmor.com)
This tent is the closest thing to the Holiday Inn, you will find for the price. It's wonderful for two, it's suitable for three, specialy if there's a couple.
Two doors make for easy in and out, and great ventilation, especialy in summer.
Although it's not feather weight, you will be glad you brought it along. Great for full size campers over 6'.
It is a full 4-season tent, although summer is probably not its strong point.
Six can sit inside, and still breathe, although it's not supposed to be the circus tent.
I've tested quite a few tents during the last several years. This is a solid, reliable, well designed winter home.
