Rating: rated 5 of 5 stars
Materials: leather and gore-tex
Use: NYC stompin'
Break-in Period: one week
Price Paid: $150

After a short break-in period (one week) these boots are fantastic. I don't use them for hiking, backpacking, etc. These boots experience the concrete of the urban jungle, mean New York streets and subways. Bar far much more nastier than some mountain trails.

I was once a loyal Merrell boot wearer until my pair of Wintera boots fell apart after one year of use!! A message to Merrell YOU SUCK!! The quality of their product is truly failing. So back to NORTH FACE. If you're looking for a grade A boot this is the one for you. I bought a pair in black. Damn good looking boot.
