User Review: The North Face Light Parka (1999)

First off where are the pockets on this thing?

There are no lower pockets!!! That doesn't make any sense!!

Especially when you spend the change that I did you'd expect lower hand pockets. I mean I'd rather have those than their so-called Napolean pockets. Additionally the drawstring for the waist men is located in the Napolean pocket it's rather deep and makes it difficult to search for. The main zipper takes a while to get used to, but in situations where you can't take that time then all I can say is practice, practice, practice, or you're stuck, stuck, stuck. The hood is pretty cool. It has an adjustable drawstring for the hood's brim and one located at the back so that is can be totally fit to your head and not your face.

I have the Nuptse Jacket and it's get pretty warm and toasty your hands will freeze but your body won't. The velcro sleeve will fit as tightly as you want it too.

So the only complaint is if you have arms then the fact that this jacket has no lower pockets will eventually get to you. Did TNF do this to save weight? Bad Move!!!
