"This pack is the most comfortable, stable, and the best investment I have ever made. The only problem I have with it is that it doesn't fit a Life-Link Aluminum shovel as well as it should. Otherwise it is awsome!"

"The North Face Patrol pack has everything you could ever look for in a backcountry ski pack. It has an avalanche probe sleeve on the inside of the pack which is handy if you ever have to use it. It also has a nice spot to put a shovel on the front of the pack."

"I have been very happy with the pack. It is completely bombproof, and has the ability, with its external straps and over-the-top suspension, to carry very large loads. The yellow does get dirty, but it is nice for visibility, which is a definite advantage in the urban jungle."

"This pack is exceptional. I have found that it will carry everthing I might want on alpine climbs, includings skis nestled away from legs. It is very expensive for a rucksack, however there are few that compete with volume and ability to carry skis."
