I purchased the Solar for a Denali trip in 2002 and done some winter camping. All I can tell you is that it compresses nicely to fit in stuff sack, great amount of room for 6 ft 200 lb big boy. I slept on Denali in long underwear and winter camping lower (Rainier and Colorado) -- have to strip down. Now if they could only integrate a "relief tube".
