The North Face Thermoball Versa Boot

rated 4.0 of 5 stars
photo: The North Face Thermoball Versa Boot winter boot

Pros

  • Warm
  • Light

Cons

  • Initially uncomfortable
  • Pricey

I've worn these boots for a day. Ankle hurts from stiff boots, possibly needs break-in time.

They are light, warm (30-degree day standing around all day at work).

I normally wear 10.5 and these boots fit like other hiking boots, but I do have slightly narrow feet too. I wouldn't use them for hiking.

12/13/2016 Update:

It's been a few days now, the boots did need some break-in time.

I'm impressed how warm my feet stay for such a light boot. I still wouldn't use them for winter hiking, but for light work outside and walks I would recommend.

SpentĀ $110; in my opinion these are $80 boots.
