From Backcountry.com:
"The North Face Triple C Down Jacket is an ankle-length coat that covers your entire body in ultra-warm 700-fill down. If you're tired of getting cold when you go out for the evening, you need the Triple C in your closet. An insulated snap-off hood gives you head warmth or a low-bulk option for beanie-wearing nights, while an internal media pocket keeps your tunes going. Soft brushed lining in the collar makes you feel like you're in the lap of luxury."

From Altrec Outdoors:
"Providing exceptional thermal warmth, The North Face Metropolis Parka for women with an extra-long cut creates a full-body shield from frigid weather. The notion of attending an outdoor ice sculpture contest or an outdoor hockey game always has some appeal until you sit or stand in one place for a half hour or more. Play it smart in your winter wonderland with this 700 fill down-filled Women's Triple C Jacket from The North Face. With a removable insulated hood, the Triple C Jacket treats you right without making you look like you're part of a mountaineering party. Along the front you'll find a full-length front zipper with a snap closure to seal out any breezes. The Triple C also has an "Electronics acceptance system"--a term that The North Face uses to explain that this long coat is ready for your music player or cellular phone system. There's also hand pockets with a key clip for holding important stuff like your hockey and ice sculpture ticket stubs, or just in case you need to run out to find some hot liquid beverage refreshments."

"I am utterly disappointed with this coat. I live in Chicago and it is simply not warm enough for the winters here. It's also not wind proof.

I wrote to North Face at the end of last winter about my useless coat and asked for my money back or a Warner coat and they never wrote back."

"I had heard good things about this down coat and was so excited when i got it last nite. I own several Eddie Bauer long coats and they are very warm in below zero weather. I thought i would get this one because it was a little bit longer than my other coats."

"So this is a women's coat - but as I guy I thought it would look good so bought one. I love it - I've had a couple of odd looks wearing it out - but quite a few complements as well. It's not very fitted so works fine and is really warm. So guys don't be shy and TNF - let's see some long down coats for men - maybe with a fur trim hood as well."

"I got this jacket because I had to go back to school in Ohio and I knew the winters would be rough. I agree, that the buttons should go all the way down, otherwise, it's no better than the shorter 600 fill one I currently use. However, I did have buttons put in that button it all the way down and that solved everything."

"For the first time in five years I was warm and comfortable during a winter in Vienna, Austria, the second "Windy City. " Warmth was more than adequate, even in -15°C weather. Only minor drawback is that since that it's not rain resistant. Also, since I'm short (5'3), the bottom of the coat (a Medium) sometimes got dirty from sludgy snow and salt."

"I love the North Face and especially this jacket! This jacket is so warm and actually has a feminine silhouette. I own the NF Nuptse Jacket and vest which are warm but don't have the great lines that this jacket has. I love the removable hood and the length.

Cons: Wish the NF had the option for a fur-lined hood for this jacket, like some of their other styles."

"I bought this coat to help me endure the long, long Chicago winters and while it's warm its design could use some retooling. The buttons don't go all the way down the coat, so as I walk the coat blows open and lets cold air rush in on my legs. The purpose of a full-length coat is to protect the legs, but since the bottom of the coat ultimately exposes my legs I'd have to say I'm disappointed."

"Love it! Super stylish, very warm and incredibly elegant. Finally I can wear a skirt when it is minus 40o Celcius outside. They are selling like hot cakes up here in Montreal. In two weeks, almost all stores' entire stock of this model was gone! Got my hands on the last "SMALL" and it was ONLY AUGUST (and 30o Celcius outside still)!!! This jacket is A HIT by North Face."
