Timberland Free Range

These are the finest pair of approach shoes I have…

Rating: rated 5 of 5 stars
Materials: upper: nubuck/suede/mesh
Use: short dayhikes
Break-in Period: none
Weight: about 2 lbs. (size 12)
Price Paid: $40 (Can.)

These are the finest pair of approach shoes I have purchased in years. No, wait...decades. Excellent lacing system, gusseted tongue, grippy rubber outsole. Comfortable right out of the box. These shoes are not waterproof, but for the extremes of temperature that are common in the desert climate I hike in, they are cool in the heat and warm in the cold. What more can I say? I'm sold.
