this boot is a great lightweight day hiker or casual boot. i don't recomend it for backpacking because it doesn't offer the support a backpacking boot does. but i bought this boot because it was very comfortable and looks very nice

Good boot for day hikes. Felt a little heavy after a couple of days on the trail. I developed blisters on the top of my toes on both feet during long assent. OK boot.
