Tredagain Classic Sandal

photo: Tredagain Classic Sandal flip-flop

Sturdy flip-flops that can take on whatever you throw at them. Loved them for camp shoes and just everyday sandals.

Pros

  • Solid sole
  • Dependable connections
  • Comfortable

Cons

  • No back strap

My wife and I both got a pair of these sandals and were both a little skeptical of them at first. They take a few weeks to break in, but so do most shoes/sandals. My wife first thought that I got her the wrong size, but after a few weeks of breaking them in they started to show their true colors.

We took them with us on our road trip to the western U.S. and they became our primary footwear on the trip. I don't think I've ever been as surprised with a product as I was with these sandals. With flip-flop style sandals I'm always concerned with them failing at the point where they connect between my toes. I'll be surprised if these ever even come close. There have been multiple times when I've caught the front of the sandals on something while hiking and thought I would have ripped the connection out, but it's still there as strong as ever.

Now, like I said earlier, they do take some time to break in. I think we got them in late April/early May and wore them a couple times a week for until our trip in the middle of June. By then we had broke the sandals in and had our feet accustom to them as well.

I'm actually wearing them while I write this review. They have become my go-to sandal for the summer of 2017 and with the way they are holding up to miles I'm putting under them, may be my sandals for a few summers to come.
