It's not a Vasque's commercial. I'd looked for a light pair of approach shoes for a period of time and finally picked up Vasque.
Hooray:
It's my first pair of approach shoes and I do like it very much, esp the Skywalk sole and its outstanding shock absorbing performance.
I put it on for a 25km trail (scrambling, running and bouldering) instead of my heavy Scarpa Cadore GTX. Out of my expectation, the Skywalk sole did stick to the grounds very very well (on all terrains) and the midsole absorbed the shock while I was scrambling and bouldering--really fabulous.
Nay:
Nevertheless, I wished it had a longer shoelaces and was lighter.
