User Review: Vasque Exodus GTX
Rating: ![]()
Materials: Split leather
Use: Trail, Bouldering and Technical Scrambling
Break-in Period: none!
Weight: light
Price Paid: $125
A great, versatile approach, scrambling, whatever boot (not for backpacking, though).
Mid-high cut provides great support, but it's still light enough to perform almost as well as a trail runner. Very sticky soles. No break in needed.
Gore-tex "booty" has been keeping my feet dry for the 9 or 10 months I've owned them (except when the water comes in over the top after walking through too deep streams!)
Highly recommended - prices should be coming down.
