I have had used this tent for three years and it has functioned flawlessly. The shockcord suspension is great and the tent holds up to very high winds without a sign of stress. I have used this tent three summers in the high arctic (Ellesmere and Axel Heiberg Island, Canada) and the only sign of stress on it is the fly is showing signs of UV damage.

I contacted Vaude USA about this and the only way I can get a relplacement fly is if they have one laying around from a returned Hogan. This is a shame since the rest of the tent is still in great shape. I am not sure if they are still selling this tent (it is not in the 2002 catalog). It actually looks like they have abandoned the shockcord suspension all together. Too bad. Anyway, it has been a superb tent, not sure what I am going to replace it with.
