This pack is light and comfortable. The net in the back supplies air and helps a lot on hot days. It is tough as I have dragged it through some pretty tough laurel thickets, used it for a pillow and dragged it around. It is a great "day" pack. It is roomy enough for 2 water bottles, a full day's food and some water shoes. If you need a short trip pack I don't think you will be disappointed with this one.
