GSI Outdoors 10 Oz. Flask

rated 4.5 of 5 stars If you are like me and enjoy a daily dram or shot of your favorite beverage in the back country, I highly recommend looking into this GSI flask. Drink responsibly, but enjoy comfort in the knowledge that your whisky (or other favorite beverage) will be safe and sound no matter where you store it or if you drop it. I rarely strap a pack on my back for a trip to the wilderness without slipping a flask into a side pocket with just the right amount of my favorite single malt scotch. A daily dram after… Full review

Hunersdorff High Altitude Water Bottle

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Hunersdorff Water Bottle 1 Liter 1.5 Liter - Fits in: Outdoor Research Water Bottle Parka, Rothco MOLLE Compatible Water Bottle Pouch, Nalgene Insulated Water Bottle Sleeve, Forty Below Bottle Boots 1L The Hunersdorf Wide Mouth Bottles are the best bottle on the market for extreme cold weather! The softer plastic seals better. Does not absorb "flavors" and is virtually unbreakable. With a specially designed threaded cap sealing against leaks at 3 points, this Wide Mouth Bottle won't crack in cold… Full review

Easy Traveler 16oz Rum Runner Flask

rated 4 of 5 stars Safe at moderate temps. Avoid extreme ambient high temps. It is 100% safe to use LLDPE (the plastic this container is made from) as a methanol/alcohol container at 20°c/68°f. That said, safety degrades as the temp rises. LLDPE manufacturers rate safety LOW at 60°c/140°f for methanol storage. I would hope that no one would be through hiking in 140 degrees. Full review

Nalgene 32 oz Wide Mouth Glow

rated 5 of 5 stars Nalgene 32 Ounce Wide Mouth Glow in the Dark (green) water bottle: Front Rear I don't know how to get the camera to show glow in the dark. Capacity 32 oz (1 Liter?) Colors Green Blue (these are very hard to find) Ease of Use Can open with mittens on. Has a leash on the bottle top so you don't lose it. Water purification filters and Steripen work with it. FEATURES BPA-free Glow in the dark Wide Top with leash - you can torque it down for a good seal Construction & Durability I dropped one over… Full review

CamelBak Better Bottle Insulated

rated 3.5 of 5 stars I like the Camelbak brand mainly for its great and easy to use lifetime warranty they have on their products. The reason why I'm only giving this 3.5 stars is because my Camelbak insulated water bottle has broken two times already. My wife and I got the Camelbak water bottle because we loved that it has a lifetime warranty on it. My wife used it for a long time until a hinge on the lid broke. We forgot about the warranty on it, so she bought another bottle, and when we finally remembered the warranty,… Full review

CamelBak Chute 1L

rated 5 of 5 stars I love this bottle. Easy to purify in, fill, and drink from. An amazing design. The new spout with the screw treads on the inside makes drinking from it easy on the lips. My Katadyn filter output fitting fits it fine. The bottle does seem to get a little more dinged up than the Nalgene, but this is purely cosmetic. Have used the one liter and .75 liter models numerous times this year, and all have performed well. My new go-to water bottle. Full review

Ultimate Direction Body Bottle Plus

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Soft sided water bottle that can be collapsed as it empties. This eliminates the sloshing sounds of any trapped air in the bottle. If you hate the sound of sloshing in your water bottles, this product is for you. The walls of the water bottle are constructed from plastic similar to what is used for hydration reservoirs. The result is a pliable bottle that is only as big as the amount of liquid it contains (up to 17 oz).  I run with a small hydration pack that has two pockets up front that I use… Full review

Smartwater Bottles

rated 4.5 of 5 stars I switched from Nalgene to disposable water bottles for most (3+ season) trips. If you go that route, the Smartwater bottles are the sturdiest disposables out there except for Gatorade/Powerade, but have some distinct advantages over those brands. They are my regular water bottle on the majority of trips and haven't let me down, and at least let me reuse, rather than just recycle, if I have to buy bottled water sometimes. Note that there is a recognized health risk associated with reuse of disposable… Full review

Klean Kanteen 27oz Classic

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Excellent thermos, durable. If you want a thermos that keeps liquid cold a long time, buy this one with confidence. I found I can use less ice (1/4 to 1/2 full) and have more available water since I don't have to wait for ice to melt. After purchasing I also bought the sports cap to make drinking easier. This thermos is taking a beating and has performed admirably. One note of caution, you might as well buy the stainless steel finish, as the painted finish wears off. In my opinion it is too heavy… Full review
