Vapur Incognito Flexible Flask

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Convenient, light, flexible, and covert way to carry drinks into the backcountry. Recommended for those looking for a way to bring adult beverages into the woods. I have used Vapur bottles in the past and enjoyed the opportunity to test a version of the bottles designed for adult beverages. Features I received two different Vapur bottles to test. One was the Vintage Flexible Wine Carrier and the other was this Incognito Flexible Flask. My review of the Flexible Wine Carrier can be found by clicking… Full review

Vapur Vintage Flexible Wine Carrier

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Convenient, light, and flexible way to carry drinks into the backcountry. Recommended for anyone looking to bring some of the comforts of home into the woods. I have used Vapur bottles in the past and enjoyed the opportunity to test a version of the bottles designed for adult beverages. Features: I received two different Vapur bottles to test. One was this Vintage Flexible Wine Carrier and the other was the Incognito Flexible Flask. Both bottles came with a bottle pourer to help transfer wine… Full review

Seattle Sports Puffer Jug

rated 5 of 5 stars Packs down fairly flat, doesn't take up much room in my pack. Has holes at three corners good for hanging when you have nothing handy to set it on or tying to outside of pack. Handy spout, same as large hard containers, for cleaning, cooking, filling. Have used in my base camp for three different outings. Works great, and has not punctured yet. I use the three holes to hang the container from limbs, when I don't have something handy to set it on, for a handy elevated position. I fill the container… Full review

Reliance Fold-A-Carrier

rated 3.5 of 5 stars I received this portable water container with a capacity of 5 gallons and designed out of plastic, as a gift. I have used this product for a couple of years. It finally started leaking at one of the seams 2 months ago and I had to dispose of it. The handles work great when carrying the container full. I used it for campsite duties only and on all car camping trips. It does great for water storage for that purpose, but I would not use it for other camping purposes beyond that. The only thing I did… Full review

Platypus Water Tank

rated 4 of 5 stars Years ago, I can't remember how long ago it was, I purchased a Platypus that held 4 liters and had a full zip closure on the top. It served me well for at least 6 years but slowly over that time it became increasingly hard to close the zip as it seems the plastic became stiff. But I like the product enough to buy the new one. It seems to be made of a softer and more flexible type of material. I take the 4 liter size as it allows me to go further and longer between fill ups and I converted it to… Full review

Coleman Expandable Water Carrier - 5 Gallon

I received this product for Christmas. Just 3 weeks ago the family went camping and needed to use the water container. I took the container out of the box for the first time. When I started filling the water container my foot started getting wet. I checked and there was a hole in the container. Wal-mart is no help. Might I say I am very disappointed. Full review

Reliance 7 Gallon Water Container

rated 2.5 of 5 stars Initially ok. With daily use the container cannot support the weight of water and the bottom of the container begins to crush and leak. They are however, covered by warranty which the manufacturer does stand by. However, who wants to keep contacting them for replacement bottles? Needs to be made of stronger material. Full review

Ortlieb Water Bag

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Great, except for the cap/top, which is too complicated. Handles are in the right place for filling up at a fast stream, rubber mouth of the bag can be gripped well, top (if you can figure it out) is tethered, though not the entire cap, just the sub-cap. Ten litres is great. Full review
