Cenote Hydration System

rated 5 of 5 stars Lightweight, recyclable water bladder. This hydration bladder system is much lighter than other brands. If you hoist some of the other companies products you can see why many people opt not to use them. I have had this for two years of biking, hiking, and kayaking and it is still going strong with no signs of wear or fatigue. Over the years I have had bad experiences with other bags getting gross from the use of anything other than just water. I trained myself to stay away from any mixes or sport… Full review

Platypus Hoser

rated 5 of 5 stars Bulletproof and lightweight way to keep hydrated on the go. I've had a 3L Hoser for about 3 years now. I'll start with the one drawback: It's tough to get much water in it from a non-flowing source of water, but this is easily solved by pouring water into it with some other container.  Filling it from a flowing stream is cake. Besides that, I have nothing but praise for it. Even the one drawback actually comes with two big positives:      1. The opening is small, but that means you don't have… Full review

MSR Hydromedary

rated 5 of 5 stars I have the 3 liter variant of this bladder and it has been fantastic. It is well built and has taken a beating on the trails and quickly connects to my Miniworks filter so I can quickly fill it with clean water. This product is best for backpacking, hiking, camping, or really any outdoor activity. I even took mine to the beach one day! Some complain about the two loops as opposed to one, but my pack has two hooks for hydration bladders so it works great for me, definitely recommend. I bought this… Full review

Miir Bottles Howler

rated 5 of 5 stars This double-insulated, 18/8 medical grade stainless steel growler (Miir describes its 64 oz. model as a growler and 32 oz. as howler, but it's the same construction) is phenomenal for maintaining cold temperature and carbonation. Miir claims both are maintained 24+ hours. I've not tested the limits of my Howler, but have observed temperature and carbonation maintained at 36 hours. While this growler may treat all liquids equal, my focus is solely on how it treats beer. I want the option of packing… Full review

Nalgene 32 oz Wide Mouth Tritan

rated 5 of 5 stars Best water bottle period! This is the only water bottle brand me and my family uses for everything. We have about 6 or 7 floating around the house. Saving the environment, we never buy bottled water anymore. This water bottle is compatible with my MSR water filter system. I use this bottle hiking. I also have found another use for it! Before I go to bed when camping I fill it with boiling water and put it in the foot of my sleeping bag, instant heater that keeps me warm all night. Sometimes I lie… Full review

Klean Kanteen Unisex Stainless Steel Sport Cap Bottle

rated 3.5 of 5 stars Lightweight, robust water bottle with good volume. Great water bottle, high strength, lightweight, high volume, strong, good water flow with the included sport cap. I don't like how the valve leaks sometimes though when the bottle is on its side. I really have to watch where I put it so it doesn't soak my gear.    Full review

Coleman Expandable Water Carrier - 5 Gallon

rated 1 of 5 stars I used two Coleman Expandable Water Carriers (five gallon) to take with me on a camping trip in a conservation area where there was no sources of clean water, in August when it was extremely hot. I was really disappointed with the bags for several reasons. They are made of fairly thin plastic and "rolled around" in the back of my SUV while I was driving. They were difficult to fill with water at home and unwieldy when trying to carry or move them. They always rolled over onto the spigot no matter… Full review

Source Widepac

rated 5 of 5 stars Practical and easy to use water bladder. Source Widepac 3L in a Berghaus Wilderness rucksack I picked this model of water bladder over others for two main reasons. It is a little lighter in weight. It opens from the top, which I find more practical especially when I need to pour water from the bladder into a pot for cooking. And its bite valve comes with a cover to keep dirt off the valve—a useful feature when you set your pack down on the ground and it topples over as packs do. The slider looks… Full review

Platypus plusBottle

rated 3.5 of 5 stars I sometimes use the Platypus plusBottle as a flask. Great for extra water on day hikes or road trips, very compact, not bulky and has been useful on many overnight camping trips. Bottle did not burst when I hiked into higher elevation, (thank god) but it did expand. I currently own other Platypus products (Platypus Big Zip 2L & 3L bladder and I love it), so that's why I was more inclined to by the same brand's products. I initially bought this bottle for an extra supply of water. It kinda turned… Full review
