Travelon Clear View Waterproof Pouch

rated 3 of 5 stars We specifically purchased four for our current Orlando visit (think water park and swimming pools). We only used one day so far, in Typhoon Lagoon. Well, it worked for three phones, but my daughter's HTC One's bag allowed water sometime within 3 hours of use and almost ruined her phone. We tested these out the night before the first use and all seemed good, so I think it must be the seal that failed. Full review

SealLine Baja Dry Bag

rated 4 of 5 stars Favorite so far. I have several dray bags and sacks of various brands, sizes and styles. Although I haven't used them for many years, my favorite so far is the SealLine and my favorite of my two Seal Lines is the Baja. Forms a great seal and always seems to have a tight roll and closure. Pacific Outdoor Equipment Gobi 60

rated 4.5 of 5 stars I've used this pack on numerous canyoneering trips and two trips down the Colorado River thru the Grand Canyon. It's stlll like new with some wear in the form of scuffs. Excellent well made product! Very well made pack, good workmanship throughout. I would recommend this pack to a serious outdoorsman. Great for canyoneering, whitewater, hiking in wet conditions etc. Had it for years and beat it up and it's still going strong without one issue! Full review

Travelon Clear View Waterproof Pouch

rated 0.5 of 5 stars It ruined my phone: DO NOT PURCHASE THIS CASE I used it twice and it worked okay. It wasn't easy to use the phone like they claim it is. The third time I used it I sealed it exactly how you're supposed to and noticed water was getting on my phone. I think it was condensation being that the phone is electronic and it gets hot. If you're going to use this around water you shouldn't. You need to get one of the hard huge cases because this pouch is so thin I didn't even think about it. The design is… Full review

OtterBox 1000

rated 4 of 5 stars The Otter Box is a low-cost investment that protects high-cost electronic devices and other important items that need to stay dry. This reviewer's first-hand account speaks to the value of owning and using the Otter Box 1000 in the outdoors. 5 STARS for durability and reliability. 3 STARS for recent business decisions (see final section of this review). Picture this true-life scenario... I had just spent several minutes carefully climbing a 50' high pile of breakdown in a Tennessee cave. At the… Full review

Sea to Summit Big River Dry Sack

rated 4 of 5 stars Sea-to-Summit's 35 liter Big River Dry Bag is a voluminous stuff sack that is good for situations where keeping gear dry is top priority. While this reviewer is pleased with the product, he is left wondering why a bag marketed as “waterproof” cannot be submerged? Note: While I did purchase this product new, I bought it with the CampSaver Gift Card I won from Trailspace in June 2014. Thank you, Trailspace! Now to the review... Testing Parameters: The 35L Big River Dry Bag was used for 8 days… Full review

Innate Mentor Storage Sacs

rated 5 of 5 stars I used Innate's Mentor Storage Sacs during my thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail thru-hike in 2011, and have used them on every backpacking trip since. With their iconic air-valve, no storage sac is so easy to close, which when rolling and unrolling multiple times per day accounts for a lot of saved time and hassle. I used Innate's Mentor Storage Sacs during my thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail thru-hike in 2011, and have used them on every backpacking trip since. With their iconic air-valve, no… Full review

Mammut Ambient Light Dry Bag

rated 5 of 5 stars Dry bag that transforms into lantern. This translucent dry bag is pretty simple, except for a small sleeve in its base. This sleeve allows you to place a headlamp in the base which lights up the translucent material turning it into a effective lantern.  You can clip it inside your tent, or hang it anywhere. It works really well and is much better then a headlamp for getting changed inside a tent, or anything of the like.  Full review

LokSak aLokSak

rated 3 of 5 stars Heavy duty waterproof plastic storage bag designed for carrying items you want to ensure do not get exposed to the elements (rain, dust, snow, humidity, sand, etc.). This write up is a complement to the LOKSAK OPSAK write up I've also provided. I originally bought these aLOKSAKs thinking they'd work for my food storage, but the food odors were coming through so I ended up going back and getting the OPSAK for that purpose. For my 3.5-day backpacking trip, I used these aLOKSAKs for carrying the items… Full review
