Osprey Atmos 65 AG

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Most comfortable pack ever. I was a little leery about purchasing the Osprey AG 65 because it was so new to the market, but once I tried it on at the store I instantly knew that it was designed for me. I have a small case of arthritis in my lower back and my old pack was killing me. I was about to give up backpacking altogether until this product came to market. I have done four trips with it so far and the comfort is superb. The fit is exact with the easy adjustable features it has. The compartments… Full review

Osprey Aether 70

rated 5 of 5 stars This pack is very durable, and can carry a large amount of gear/weight evenly, so it is very comfortable to haul over long distances. From multi-day rock climbing trips to backpacking in the wilderness, the storage on this pack has kept me organized, and held together while beating it up and abusing it. The fit of the pack is true to size. The chest strap sits in a great position, which also allows the waist belt to hold the weight like it is supposed to. This allows heavy loads to be carried comfortably… Full review

Gregory Deva 80

rated 4.5 of 5 stars This is a large capacity pack deigned specifically for women. It comes in three sizes so that everyone can get a comfortable fit. This pack is the newest and largest of several Gregory packs I own. My personal reason for choosing this brand is that I am 5'2" with a short torso and Gregory makes well designed women's specific packs in three sizes, so I am able to find a good fit with the extra small version. So far I have only used it on canoe trips where it was only necessary to carry it over portages,… Full review

Gregory Deva 70

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Highly effective at reducing how weight feels when properly adjusted. Basically impossible to get water bottle back into holder. Non-adjustable sleeping bag compartment. I first used this pack on a 10-mile roundtrip overnight cross-country ski trip carrying 65 pounds. It was difficult to swing the pack up onto my shoulders but once it was there and the straps properly adjusted, it certainly didn't feel like 60 pounds (felt like 20-ish I'd say). Definitely a keeper! I wasn't strong enough to lift… Full review

Osprey Aether 70

rated 5 of 5 stars A pack that will carry what you need and then some! Solidly constructed with plenty of areas to strap things to the exterior if needed. The hip belt and shoulder strap system is the best I have ever used! This pack met and exceeded my expectations and needs! The detachable "brain" worked great for side hikes when all I needed to carry was rain gear and some water. The interior compartment is roomy and provides plenty of room for personal and crew gear. The outer pocket/pouch is handy for items needing… Full review

Osprey Atmos 65 AG

rated 5 of 5 stars This was my first extended trip. We went up to over 11k to our base camp for multiple days and the Atmos 65 had plenty of room for all our gear and was very comfortable to wear. The Osprey Atmos 65 AG proved to be a great backpack.  It fit perfect from the first try on in the store till the last minutes of our descent. It was very comfortable to wear and had more than enough space to carry all our gear. We did multiple days of day hiking out of a base camp in the Colorado Rockies. It was our first… Full review

REI Men's Flash 65 Pack

rated 5 of 5 stars Best adjustable backpack. Truly an amazing backpack. Have used it across all the four seasons and it is extremely durable and utility type. Has a lot of storage pockets: long/medium/short. The back spine support could be adjusted very well according to one's support system. The belt also has utility pockets to store bars and flashlights. Osprey Atmos 65

rated 4 of 5 stars Overalls this pack is substantially qualified to meet any standard overnight hiker/gear-men. The structure alone is not only versatile but comfortable, not to mention the million pockets for accessories. The package self I seem to be in love with more than my average day pack. After taking sent back a crossed a 2 1/2 day adventure, cycling, about a good 45-mile hike, two overnights in partial torrential rain, I have found that this pack is not only versatile and size and storage but withheld its… Full review

The North Face Terra 50

rated 4 of 5 stars Great mid-priced pack. Pockets on hip belt, good padding on belt & shoulder harness, relatively light (3.75 lbs). Hold enough gear for me to go on a 5 day/4 night trip. Wears well at my normal hiking weight of 27 lbs (all-in, including water). I would buy this again. In fact, I am thinking of getting the 65L version for shoulder seasons when I want a heavier bag and clothing with me. Full review
