Unparalleled design and construction. It's like "old world" craftsmanship has suddenly reappeared manifest in the modern manufacture of sleeping bags in the California factory of Western Mountaineering. This bag clearly illustrates the adage, "you get what you pay for...".
I purchased mine mainly for exotic travel, as a way to increase my comfort in sparsely blanketed and cold guest houses. I wanted extreme light weight, extreme compressabiliy and wide temperature range... I got all three with this bag. In addition, it completely unzips to open fully as a down comforter. It is constructed of a special extremely thin and light weight ripstop nylin fabric, unlike other bags on the market, and 750 fill down, hence the light weight of the bag itself.
There is NO OTHER BAG like it on the market.
