Got mine around 1996. Great pack for fast/light mountaineering and ski touring. Really tough construction -- pretty hard to destroy this thing, and it's light. Nice tubes for ice tools/ice axe and crampon straps. No stupid bells and whistles.
Drawbacks... not comfortable for carrying a really heavy load, but that's not what it's intended for. Great otherwise.
