Second Arrow

rated 5 of 5 stars In '98 I bought this tent to cycle from Perth to Brisbane - Absolutely bullet-proof in all conditions. In 2000, I took the same tent to Tierra del Fuego and cycled north through Patagonia through rain, snow, hail and winds you have to experience to believe. The Second Arrow took it all. One night, because of a wind shift the rear pole distorted, but that was all. That morning, the wind was so strong I only managed 3 km in 5 hours. If you want to travel light, but need a tent that is livable for… Full review

Lost World

rated 5 of 5 stars I looked at one of these packs a while ago now and compared it to my other WE packs. Same harness but lots of extras. This is a great pack for guides and professionals who have to take a bit extra. It has a high canvas throat that makes it virtually watertight even if you droped it in the river. This is the best designed pack I have ever seen and it rides like all other WE packs, they are superb. Full review

First Arrow

rated 5 of 5 stars we have had our First Arrow for just on ten years now, and it is only now starting to show signs of deterioration in seam sealing. However I have never come across a tent I trust as much as this. From Tasmania to deserts to coastal we have taken our little Arrow round Australia. Pitched it in 140km hour winds and still slept safe and sound and above all dry. Best tent ever designed. Full review

Contour

rated 5 of 5 stars I took one up to Hinchinbrook Island in Queensland and walked the Thorsburne Trail with it. Load was about 14 lb and the 4-day trip was rain from day one to four and if you know North Queensland rain it was a cyclone. Never got wet and never leaked. Great daypack or for ultralights. Now has compression straps and is much better for it. This pack is now used for my wife as it can take all her clothes and more for overnighters. Very rugged, comfortable. Full review

Expedition 2

rated 5 of 5 stars I have two WE packs and the only ones that I have used that even come close are the One Planets or some MacPacs. The WE's are the toughest, most comfortable rugged packs for Serious hikers. They are not the prettiest and don't have as many bells and whistles as some of the others but they never, ever, ever let you down and they are one of the most waterproof around.
