I have been on the trails for about 8 months now, I have lost about 35 pounds and having a great time. I like day hiking, and I live in Chula Vista, there are many trails. I go to Jumal Mountains a lot. At this point I do between 6 and 10 miles on Saturday and Sunday and the rest on the week between 3 and 4 miles per day, sometimes 3 miles in the evening also. One last note if you go 10 miles on upper Otay you will go up 3000 feet.
