Update 12/2017: My Dimma Bivy performed as expected in the Smokies. It kept me dry and the nylon sides helped block the wind. The extra protection allowed me to raise the sides of my tarp and I had no condensation at all. It rained two of the three days we stayed out. The mesh strip down the middle helped ventilation, so there was not moisture buildup in the bivy. The temps were a little warm for early November.

If you're backpacking in an area with rain and wind with humidity the Dimma hits that sweet spot, thanks.
