Best for moderate bugs.   Picaridin Insect Repellent Skeets on the tent fly at High Emigrant Lake Growing up in the western Cascades of the Pacific Northwest I'm well acquainted with mosquitoes. Sea to Summit Pocket Shampoo with Conditioner

Need too many leaves to wash hair. I bought this product to use on a hike to save weight. I tried it out at home. I have short hair so first tried two leaves to wash my hair. I put to leaves in my hand got them a little wet and tried to wash my hair. There was no foam and I didn't feel like it was doing anything. Next time I used 4 leaves also no suds. Coleman Camp and Sport Towel

Coleman does it again with a quick drying lightweight camp towel. One of many campers' and hikers' problems is carrying extra weight and packing room so bringing your bathroom towel is out of the question. This Quick-Dry Polyester fabric dries extremely fast and is so thin you can use it opened up as a liner for your backpack so that in essence it takes up no extra room in your pack. Perfect Fitness Cooling Towel

I too have had a raised red painful itchy rash wherever this towel touched my neck or chest for two weeks after a 30-minute walk. Took a few hours to develop after use, so you cannot feel it happening until it is too late. Do not let this touch your skin. Full review

Repel Lemon Eucalyptus Insect Repellent

We have to use this at work as Deet isn't allowed due to wearing rubber gloves. They say there's a chance the rubber could be compromised. This stuff works ok. I still get eat up from time to time. The biggest drawback that hasn't been mentioned is that the stuff STINKS! The smell is just strong. There's still no replacement for Deet that I've found. Full review
