Ledlenser P7.2

Great flashlight, when it works, but it has quality issues and it does not support rechargable batteries. Not for daily use. Great flashlight, when it works, but after 3 years it started flickering and now, after 5 years it stopped working altogether. The battery holder is sort of falling apart, the contacts in it are corroded, the on/off selection button is  having troubles. Oh, it has no usb recharging possibility, but it also does not support recharcheable batteries. I don't mind taking the… Full review

L.L.Bean Waterproof Solar Flashlight

L.L.Bean Waterproof Solar Flashlight

Big Mistake—DO NOT BUY The batteries that hold the solar charge fail after a few years and cannot be replaced! Apparently, this product was never designed to have the rechargeable batteries replaced. Sure, the item also runs on disposable backup lithium batteries, but then what is the point of the rechargeable solar feature. I am disappointed LL Bean sold these.  Full review

Princeton Tec Alloy-X

This small lightweight penlight creates a mighty beam of light! Suitable for use as a household light, as part of a car emergency kit, or as a reliable light for camping, the Alloy-X is a strong-beam flashlight, powered by a rechargeable battery or two AAA alkaline batteries. It is very compact and appears quite durable, and I can recommend it for use in the field or in the home. Introduction: I always carry a spare headlamp and batteries in my canoeing bag and daypack, and keep a small flashlight… Full review

Fenix LD15R

The best, most useful, compact flashlight I’ve ever carried. Bright when I need it, just enough when that’s all I need, plus great battery life. The small but powerful Fenix LD15R. For most of my outdoor life experiences, I’ve been frustrated to one extent or another by light. Or the lack thereof. Flashlights, headlamps, floodlights, mini-lights, etc. I’ve used innumerable lights over the years, but now find myself singing “Hallelujah!” in response to modern LED light sources and their… Full review

Headspin The Lighting Kit

Overall I am very impressed with the HeadSpin Light System. I have the feeling that I am just starting to discover all of the functions, features, and uses. I was immediately impressed with the HeadSpin Light System when it arrived in the mail. When I unboxed the product I discovered that it was contained within a sturdy semi-hard case. There were five easily identifiable pieces within the kit—the light head, a handle, a headband, a bicycle mount, and a wall charging plug. There was also an instruction… Full review

Ledlenser MT10

Good flashlight, very bright. Downside is the side switch button. The MT10 is a VERY bright 1000 lumens. I love that. Who wants a teeny 120-lumen light? I carry a flashlight because I want to actually SEE stuff and this makes that happen. Recharging port is a standard micro USB ports, so finding a cord is easy. I like the sliding focus ability. I've had the flashlight for over six months. Like all flashlights/multi-tools, the nylon case that comes with it is crap. I currently carry it in a Nite… Full review

Maglite XL50 LED Flashlight

With this tool you get Maglite quality and durability, plus 200 lumens of bright, focused light with good spill...enough light to clearly see whatever goes "bump" in the night. I've carried a Maglite (in its various forms) for over 30+ years, and I still have my first Maglite bought new in the mid-'80s. Iconic quality with exceptional performance...Maglite. When I think of iconic outdoor products from my youth, a few items come to mind immediately... Coleman lanterns and stoves, the Buck folding… Full review

Ozark Trail 150-Lumen Flashlight

The Ozark Trail 150-Lumen Flashlight is perfect for any overnighter. It lights up your surroundings nice and bright. This flashlight is amazing. This was the first reliable flashlight I ever owned. I’ve had it for six years and it still works like a charm. It’s made from a sturdy material that assures it will last. The button to activate the light is fantastic. The way that it is designed makes it so that there is basically no chance you will accidentally turn on the flashlight. You have to… Full review
