Herman Survivors Dover Steel Toe Logger Boot
Labeled as work boots, but could be used as a heavy hiker. The negative reviews are surprising since this is my second Herman purchase since 2014. The first was Brun, which I couldn't find this time, but Redwing offers a similar looking boot.
Pros
- All leather
- Steel toe
- Comfort
- Price
- Good specs
- Warm
Cons
- Heavy
- Ankle pressure point
- Heat in summer
I bought this boot at Walmart for work in a warehouse setting on concrete floors with grated flooring areas. They are comfortable and stable with good traction.
The first week has been promising...
Background
I previously had a different model of Herman Survivors that were very waterproof, comfortable, and sturdy. I wore them for yard work, hiking, camping, snow days, and two years later for the warehouse job.
