Kelty Sawtooth 25

I researched bags for a while and the Kelty bags all seem to totally dominate in the "bang for the buck" department. I couldn't find anything that offered anything even close in value--and Slumberjack's bags seem to suck by reputation.

This Sawtooth is not the NEWEST polargaurd but damn, does it ever function. Warm, roomy, well made, a company that knows what the word "guarantee" means, and as of 7/97 they were on sale at Gart for 89$, even for the 119$ you can't beat it with a stick.
