This review is all about fit. The boots themselves are perfect for what I use them for—anything in snow or ice. I have owned them for years so they seem durable. Really comfortable.

On to the fit. I am a 12 wide or a 12 or even a 12.5 in ASICS running shoes. In most Italian hiking boots I am a 12 with a thick sock and a liner. In Asolo hiking boots I am a 12 with a thin sock.

In the Freney I am a perfect fit with a Bridgedale XC sock in a 13. It is the only size 13 shoe in my closet. The XC sock is medium thickness and no liner.

Minimal break in. Love them.

Background

Been snowshoeing in these for years.
