After a month on the Appalachian Trail plus numerous extended weekend trips I can say that this pack is a durable and comfortable as any I have ever worn. The harness is exceptionally comfortable and keeps the load steady and close to the body.
The only drawbacks are the empty weight of the pack itself, no access to water bottles if you decide not to use a bladder, and the narrow lower compartment which had trouble accommodating my winter bag. All in all though, the pack is comfortable and solid as a rock.
