Lowe Alpine Diamond Creek III 70

rated 4.0 of 5 stars

The Diamond Creek III 70 has been discontinued. If you're looking for something new, check out the best expedition packs for 2024.

I'm still pretty pleased with this pack: I did some serious travelling with it, and it served me well. It's been outback in Australia, on Chinese trains, past the Arctic Circle, and it's still in good form. I've had to replace the buckle on the belt twice so far, which is frustrating, and some of the buckles presently need re-sewing on, mainly due to my overpacking - particularly the time I went from Beijing to London via taxi, train, boat, plane, Hong Kong and Rome in three days with 33kgs (~75lbs) in it, and strapped around the thing.

It's served me well.
