Version reviewed: 2001, 3136Y

Solid, lightweight, water resistant jacket.

Positives: Breathes well, quite snug fit. Taped seams. Roll-up hoodie, storm flap. Napolean pocket and lower powder skirt pocket. Hard shell but not stiff like the more durable/rough fabrics.

Negatives: Inner "CoolMax" lining only covers the torso (no arms) and is barely attached to the jacket -- especially noted, not at the pits, so the whole lining can flop outwards when you take off the jacket. Not very good in the cold, say, below 55F (obviously.)

Bottom line: Good fall/spring wear between 55F and 75F.

Fabric: Hard shell with GoreTex XCR
