Mountain Hardwear FTX Mithril Parka

Despite buying this jacket through an internet site, I've been mostly impressed by it. The fit is snug and very well cut, but layering is not a problem. good movement in the arms, well constructed hood, short cut and durable fabric in the right places make it an ideal climbing jacket. pit zips are very long and effective.

The only complaints are that the hood doesn't accomodate a helmet despite this being a climbing jacket and the DWR on the shoulders didn't seem to last too long. Also, the areas not reinforced by heavy fabric seemed a bit delicate, but no problems with that yet. Though i'm a lover of triplepoint, the XCR fabric is unsurpassed in breathability.
