Mountain Hardwear Kiva Lite

Have only used the Kiva Light a few times so far. i knew i wanted a floorless shelter for snow. left the pole at home and used a bamboo pole from the local ski hill (thanks!). turned out great because it was longer. used grocery bags (doubled up) for snow anchors and they worked perfectly.

it seems for dry land you need to be on really flat ground or it seems to be hard to stake all corners tight. lesson learned. once up though she worked fine. no storm flaps on mine (around base).
