Outdoor Research equipped the Men's Inertia Jacket with a 3-layer Gore-Tex Pro membrane for guaranteed waterproof protection that will keep you dry whether you're backcountry skiing all day or snowboarding at the resort in stormy weather. Despite its exquisite waterproof capability, the Gore-Tex Pro shell remains surprisingly breathable to keep you comfortable while you hike through powder and up steep ridges. The jacket's relaxed fit offers plenty of room to layer up on the frigid days, and articulated elbows prevent this jacket from interfering with your performance. The Inertia also features double-sliding CrossFlo zippers that open up from your chest all the way down to your hips in order to release an abundance of heat. LockDown technology allows you to attach compatible Outdoor Research ski pants to the powder skirt on this jacket, or you can remove the powder skirt after you stomp down all the fluff. The double-separating, water-resistant front zipper prevents a single drop of water from seeping in. ThumbDrive hook-and-loop cuffs offer a quick and easy way to cinch the sleeves across your wrists, and a drawcord at the hem prevents any cold from creeping up your back. Outdoor Research equipped this jacket with a Recco reflector to help Recco-equipped ski patrols find you in case of an emergency. The Inertia also has really cool features in its pockets to keep you organized all day long. One of the zippered napoleon pockets has a pass-thru that allows you to quickly reach in and pull out your lift pass that's securely strapped to the drawcord key clip. Both the zippered internal pockets have media ports so you can rock out with your MP3 in one pocket while your phone safely sits in the other.
