I bought this as a tent to use as a medieval recreationalist. I wanted something that was roomy and had space to store things and still have room to move around, change clothes...live in the thing for a couple weeks at a time. I used it for the first time a few weeks ago and my luck if the site didn't get hit with monsoon winds and rain. I have to say I am very impressed. I had one tiny leak, at a seam on the floor, which stopped after a few seconds and the tent held up beautifully during the hight winds. The back "changing room" is a huge plus and was helpful.

My only complaint was the setup. It is a free-standing inner frame tent, much like the ever popular pop-together car ports everyone is buying. The poles and couplers were all wonderfully marked with colored tape. The problem was the instructions, which looked simple, were made impossible because they instructed each piece as numbered, not as colored, so we were at a loss. Finally we just started putting things together to see what worked and after about 45 mins we figured it out and wrote down our own directions. I was missing the 2 central joint pieces, but managed to use the additional side joint pieces in their place for now. The instruction sheet had a phone # to call to buy lost or missing pieces, but I lost it during the rain, so I am hoping to find help here.

I rate this tent very high, aside from the fact that it's pretty and I got lots of compliments on how huge it was.

I used this tent 2 xs only!

The tent says it is GoBe Dry: well it leaks a lot from the fly on top of the tent; it also leaks from the bottom of the tent.

The zipper is supposed to be Ez Glide System it broke during my second camping trip ;there were no kids using this tent either; it seems their zippers are substandard.

I would not recommend this tent to anyone; if this is any indication of OZARK QUALITY OF TENT I WOULD NEVER BUY ONE FROM THEM AGAIN!!!!

Please note they only offer 90 day warranty if you buy from Walmart; buy from EBAY or anywhere else there is no warranty.

This tent is a total piece of junk!

Pros

  • Easy setup

Cons

  • Everything you can think of...

The material is cheap vinyl that they use to make garbage bags. I set this tent up in my backyard in England, and we had a rainstorm with winds, and the tent cover has tears all over it! The tent also leaks from the bottom. I had water all over the floor.

Anyone thinking about buying this, forget it and get a real tent.

Used two times and zipper broke.

Pros

  • Material looks fairly well

Cons

  • Zippers in door and windows or junk

Bought this tent in September 2015 used two times and the second time the zipper would not zip, had to use clothespins to partially close the door. Paid $162—junk.

You can not reach OZARK TRAILS! I can see why. So friends, I hope you save your hard earned money and buy something that will last you. I had this tent three months and it is garbage.

As it has been pointed out, "Yes the pole system sucks". I am a father of five and bought the tent for the room, and really like the size and style. We enjoyed the tent all 3 to 4 times used until the plastic pole corners broke.

If anyone knows how to get replacement parts for this model please let me know. Getting tired of setting up three different tents for a couple of days and really don't want to drag around 28ft. camp trlr. just for a couple days. Oh yeah, otherwise I like the tent.

Sleeps: 6+

Ozark Trail 10ft x 14ft x 6ft 10 in Alamo screen cabin tent

Inported by Walmart, made in Vietnam

Used tent twice and steel pole broke. Can't get replacement so tent is going to landfill. Walmart gives no service and says they no longer deal with manufacturer. Poles are black and approx 5/8 inch.

Larger bent poles are fine-much stronger.

Price Paid: $150

Haven't been able to use this product yet, bought at a garage sale, the 5 way connector is broken. North Pole is no longer selling this part but has most other parts for sale. Once I get the last part I will use this tent in the desert.

Sleeps: 6+
Ease of Setup: medium
Price Paid: $10

Love the tent, easy to set up, but the poles stink. Used tent only 3 times. Got heavy rain pole corners broke ruined our trip. Not a lot of fun when you have children. Now can not find replacement parts. What gives.
