Peter Limmer & Sons makes custom hiking boots and a limited number of U.S.-made stock boots. Since 1919, the Limmer family has been striving to provide the finest quality footwear possible, from Tyrolean walking shoes to the first U.S. patented downhill ski boot to its legendary custom hiking boot.
Off-the-shelf boots bearing the Limmer name are sold by its separate company, Limmer Boots, which works directly with Meindl to purchase and distribute German-made stock Limmer boots.
