REI Geo Mountain 2/3

rated 4.5 of 5 stars

The Geo Mountain 2/3 has been discontinued. If you're looking for something new, check out the best four-season tents for 2024.

I just had this tent out in 50 mph wind gusts with freezing temperatures. This tent is extremely tight. I could just barely tell that the wind was blowing and it wasn't a bit drafty. This tent lived up to my expectations and the price was unbelievable.

The vestibule is large enough for gear and when full you can then enter the tent through the rear small vestibule and door.

I highly recommend this tent.

It is a good tent for the beginner hiker/climber who doesn't want to spend $600 on a top of the line tent. It's worth every cent.
