Backcountry.com says:
The easy kick, excellent glide, and great value of the Salomon Kids' Equipe Junior Classic Ski help young skiers develop a love for the sport. This ski features a lightweight Densolite 1000 core made with a uni-directional fiberglass wrap and pre-shaped Densolite foam, allowing young skiers to charge the trails all day without heavy and burdensome skis leaving them tired and jelly-legged. Salomon's Digital Dynamic Flex Control allows it to precisely control the molding press during the ski-building process, allowing for precise flex, camber, and ski pairing. It gave the Equipe Junior Heel-Toe camber, which makes for improved glide, ski return acceleration, and highly efficient skiing. The Equipe Junior features DGM Digital Grinding Measurement, which is Salomon's precision stone grind measurement, meant to ensure optimum structure and depth. Race Universal Grinding is a low-pressure stone grind for high-performance gliding in all kinds of snow conditions. The G4 racing base allows for plenty of wax absorption and retention for smooth gliding during the entire duration of the ski's long life.
