Flextail ZERO 1.2

Amazing small and light camp pad pump.   Until about 3 years ago I have always blown my camp pad up with my lungs. I do have one Exped pad that has a pump built into it, but admittedly it takes a long time to pump up that way anyway. About 3 years ago I saw a small Flextail pump online and before taking the time to research it like I normally do for most gear, I ordered it unknowing if it was good quality and perhaps just a gimmick.  It turned out to be one of the best pieces of gear I’ve taken… Full review

Therm-a-Rest Z-Seat

Therm-a-rest makes high quality products. This no exception. But I wish this was a tad bigger. I like the product but I think it is too small. It measures 13x16 inches which is enough for my (not large at all) butt- only my butt. The problem is my shorts and the back of my shirt are still touching the ground (see pic). This is an easy way to get ticks and other insects on you. If it was just a little bigger it would be perfect. I guess this is why people will just cut several panels off a zlite… Full review

Klymit Insulated Static V Luxe

With the proven Klymit comfort baffles and the extra width, this is perfect for side sleepers. I've had this since before 2019 but thought I'd review it given that Klymit is selling it through Costco Next for $57; about half of the price I paid for it.  I've had the narrower but longer Klymit Insulated Static V since 2017 and been overall very happy with it, but for two things: The noise and the width. The Insulated Static V is narrow. The Static V Luxe has the width side-sleepers need. However,… Full review

Flextail Tiny Pump 2X

Inflates a sleeping pad with less effort than using a stuff sack or your lungs! Total game changer! When charged the Flextail pump has never failed to operate. It's lightweight and small enough to fit pretty much anywhere in your pack or pocket. It weighs about as much as an energy bar. I have had it several years, I also have a backup. I was so impressed I bought two to give as polyannas last holiday season, and both people are still bringing them on every backpacking trip they go on. Full review

Flextail Tiny Pump 2X

Lightweight and effective option for quick inflation/deflation of air mattresses and other items. Over the years, with the advent of backpacking air mattresses, I have progressed from simply blowing earlier mattress designs up by mouth, to more recently using complementary air-pump bags that allow sizeable volumes of air to fill the mattress without the introducing moist blown air. Such bags are super light and tend to work well. However, due to their largish size such bags can be cumbersome, requiring… Full review

Ozark Trail Air Mattress Velour Top

Waste of your money. Not holding my 60-pound grandson, who slept on the floor. And if you buy it at Walmart, they will not refund your money. Waste of money. Does not hold air, my 60-pound grandson slept on the floor because all of the air came out.. The sad thing about it is you cannot return it to Walmart because they will not accept a return on this product. $39 wasted. Full review

Ozark Trail Twin Air Mattress

Ozark Trail twin air mattress doesn’t hold air and Walmart won't give a refund because we opened the box. No way to put air in mattress unless you open box. Full review

Ever Advanced Compact Folding Camping Cot

I use a couple different size tents when camping and wanted a cot that would fit in my two-person tent and allow me to sit and still have good headroom. This cot is good for car and motorcycle campers, but would be too bulky and heavy for backpacking. So I needed to add a little comfort to my sleep system as my body is just not as robust as it once was. My sleeping pad is still in great shape so thought a cot would be the best way to go. I have several different tents and wanted a cot I could use… Full review

Ozark Trail Twin Air Mattress

Used twice and wouldn't hold air the second time. Couldn't find any leaks. Waste of money! I need a bed for now and got this one and it refuses to hold the needed air to sleep on for more than 4 hours. I cannot hear a leak or find a hole. The bed said it came with a patch kit, but it didn't, so even if I found a leak there is no patch to fix it. I DO NOT recommend this product as now I have to go buy yet another bed. Full review
