Teva Raith eVent

photo: Teva Raith eVent trail shoe

I was very disappointed with these shoes. I have owned very reliable and durable Teva shoes in the past; however, these shoes did not last very long.

Pros

  • eVent Lining
  • Good traction
  • Comfortable

Cons

  • Weak stitching

There were many things to like about this shoe. They were comfortable with ample arch support and the fit is true to size. These are waterproof shoes with an eVent lining, which kept them comfortable and dry while not overheating or causing excessive perspiration to buildup inside the shoe.

These positive features are mitigated by the fact that the stitching on certain parts of the shoe are are weak. After some light use the stitching blew out around the outer edge of one of the shoes, resulting in a rather large opening that allowed water to soak into the inner lining of the shoe and debris to eventually poke through the lining as well.
